The Best Mexican Food Around

Ask anybody, I am absolutely obsessed with spicy food, especially Mexican food. Like eat jalapenos out of a jar kind of obsessed. Because it's one of my favourite cuisines (a joined tie with Italian food), I am so fussy when it comes to a good meal, and why I would much prefer to travel for it.

Being from Waterford, the drive to Kilkenny is not all that bad, but no matter where you are the travel is so going to be worth it for this meal. Prepare to be so completely stuffed and satisfied. Paris Texas literally has it all; a spacious area for seating, live entertainment most nights (sidenote the entertainment isn't loud when you eat, it just creates this lovely ambiance around the building). When we arrived we didn't have a booking, so we were asked to wait in the bar, by the time we had finished one drink our table was ready. It was such quick service, especially for a full house!

Quickly seen to a table, it was nice that no two tables were squashed together. There was a decent amount of space in the room. The menu has an insanely large range, your biggest decision will be narrowing down what you order. To start we shared the wings, as always, along with smokey cheddar and bacon chips. The portions were nearly a mains size they were so generous, we had to leave some to keep room for the rest of the meal! For the main I ordered the cheesesteak quesadillas, like need I say more...cheesesteak, frizzled Onion & Tomatos...HEAVEN. Honestly the best food I've had in such a long time. And for desert we shared the fried ice-cream, I was so full, but I just needed to know what fried ice-cream was like. If you don't know, get on it, you need to know!

The value was also amazing for how good the service and quality of the meal was. I would go back every week if I could. I think you're looking at just over €30pp for 3 courses, what a steal!
